This morning, DC Comics announced with the TORONTO STAR that the JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA will be heading to CANADA.
Following the events of this summer’s blockbuster comic book crossover “Trinity War” written by Geoff Johns and Jeff Lemire, as well as the ramifications of Villains Month and FOREVER EVIL, there will be major changes across all the Justice League books.
Lemire (“Trinity War,” TRILLIUM, GREEN ARROW) takes on writing duties as the Justice League of America is disbanded and those who remain head to his home country of Canada to form a new team.
Drawn by the talented Mike McKone, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF CANADA arrives in Spring 2014.
Lemire spoke with the TORONTO STAR about the storyline, his excitement to set these super heroes in places he’s so familiar with and creating a new Canadian character; head on over to read more or pick up a paper--it's featured on the front page!
Additionally, Lemire will be on the DC Entertainment All Access panel at 2:30pm today in room 714 at Fan Expo Canada. Click here for the full schedule of DCE panels taking place throughout the weekend.
