Are you MAD? The San Diego Comic-Con’s “Mad About MAD” panel just concluded. Editor John Ficarra and Art Director Sam Viviano, along with cartoonists Sergio Aragonés, Peter Kuper, Tom Richmond and Kenny Keil talked about the magazine and took ridiculous questions from the (increasingly disgruntled and restless) audience!
MAD's Usual Gang of Idiots also talked about the upcoming book, Goodnight Batcave, which puts a hilarious Batman spin on the classic children's bedtime story, Goodnight Moon. The hysterical new parody hits shelves in November, just in time for fans in search of an idiotic holiday gift. The gang also took aim at Donald Trump, discussing the new e-book, MAD Dumps on Trump, available now at madmagazine.com. The e-book is a brainless collection of MAD's best satire on Mr. Trump throughout the years - plus MAD subscribers can get an exclusive version, including a bonus chapter with MAD's top spoofs on Hillary Clinton.
It was pretty moronic. Did you miss it? Be sure to stop by the DC Entertainment booth to see this year’s MAD art display and take a selfie with Alfred! Unless you don’t like culture or something! In that case, who needs ya, you philistine?
