AMERICAN CENTURY VOL. 1: SCARS AND STRIPES

Decorated WWII fighter jock Harry Block becomes extremely disgruntled and disenfranchised when he is called back to active duty for the Korean War. Deciding against another stint in the armed forces, he reinvents himself as Harry Kraft and moves to Guatemala, a sleepy dictatorship under the thumb of the American U.S. Fruit Corporation. Working as a cargo plane pilot, Harry soon learns that he can not escape his past as it seems that the C.I.A., the army, communist agitators, the president's wife, and U.S. Fruit are all conspiring to kill him.
