The history of the DC Universe, much like our own history, is expansive, unique, complicated and quite nuanced. It’s growing with every new DC comic series introduced to readers, every new comic issue that lands on stands and every new character that debuts in one of our books. Unlike our real-life universe, DC’s history is also changing constantly, as previously unknown revelations are brought to life by writers and Crisis-level events take place, altering everything that’s come before. Putting together anything close to a definitive timeline of the DC Universe is an incredibly difficult undertaking. One could even say it’s impossible, were it not for the fact that Mark Waid, accompanied by a team of remarkable artists and editors, is doing precisely that in his New History of the DC Universe.

Full issues of this ambitious series can be found at your local comic shop or read on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE, but below you’ll find PDFs of the official timeline contained within each issue. Click on each comic cover to open a downloadable PDF of its timeline. Additional timelines will be added with each new issue’s release, along with a DC UNIVERSE INFINITE collection containing many of the comics referenced in the timelines, so be sure to check back in the future!
