We might not be able to turn you into a superhero, but we can suggest some music that will sure make you feel like one. As part of our just announced, yearlong celebration of Wonder Woman’s 75th Anniversary, WaterTower Music and DC have teamed up to produce a series of weekly Wonder Woman playlists curated by some of the biggest female names in music, movies, TV, sports and more.

For our first playlist, we asked country music superstar Brandy Clark to assemble some songs and let us know what Wonder Woman means to her.

“Wonder Woman was the first female superhero and it was fun growing up seeing a beautiful woman with her own individual strength that was just as important as her male counterparts,” Clark said. “What little girl didn’t put cuffs on their wrists and make a gold lasso out of whatever rope they could find?”

Clark’s lively playlist runs the gamut from country to soul to disco, and can be heard below. Check it out and be sure to follow DC on Spotify for future Wonder Woman playlists and much, much more. Also, if you like what you hear, don't forget to grab Brandy Clark’s new album ‘Big Day In A Small Town,” which is available now here.
