SPOILER ALERT: If you have not read AQUAMAN #29 and do not wish to know what happens, stop reading this post now (major spoilers ahead!).

Long ago, in ancient Atlantis, the Giant-Born battled the Atlanteans and were banished to an Atlantean hell. To ensure that none of the spawn of giants would escape, the old King of Atlantis relied on his Olympic ally, Hercules, to lead the final charge against his enemies. In that heroic moment, Hercules was sacrificed: locked in an Atlantean prison for an eternity.

Now, the gates are open and Aquaman feels the wrath of a long-forgotten god!

Below, take a look at the final page AQUAMAN #29 as Zeus’ earth-born son rises from the Hell of Atlantis! And sound off in the comments about the logical outcome of Aquaman vs. Hercules—if one child of Zeus is appearing in the pages of AQUAMAN, who do you think will be next?

AQUAMAN #29, written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Paul Pelletier and Sean Parsons, is available in stores now.
