Villains Month continues this week across The New 52, with the likes of Penguin, Clayface, Eclipso, Ra’s al Ghul, Black Hand, Cheetah and The Rogues running rampant in the pages of your favorite comic books. All of them are must reads for fans of the characters, but there’s one book that’s perhaps a little further down the list that we’d like to point out to you.

Dial H, written by novelist China Miéville and drawn by Mateus Santolouco and later Alberto Ponticelli, recently wrapped up its 15-issue run, going down in history as one of the most unique, most bizarre titles to grace The New 52. A cult favorite in every sense of the word, expecting the unexpected was the norm when it came to Dial H. Still, no one could’ve expected that the series would end with a breathtaking villain-centric finale that featured the work of 20 phenomenal comic book artists.

JUSTICE LEAGUE #23.3: DIAL E is the grand finale in the story of Nelson Jent and his hero-summoning H-Dial. And what a sendoff it is. Bookended by the art of both series artists, the comic also features the art David Lapham, Jeff Lemire, Frazier Irving, Jock, Sloane Leong and Annie Wu, just to name a few. If you’ve been following the series, it’s the perfect way to say goodbye. And if you haven’t, it just may convince you to pick up the trade to see what you’ve been missing out on.
