It’s that time of year again! San Diego Comic Con begins today and DC Entertainment, home to the greatest super heroes in the world and the most talented writers and artists in the business, will storm the convention with an unprecedented line-up of events and announcements that promises to amaze fans and underscore its reign over the industry.

To kick off this exciting week, COMIC BOOK RESOURCES announced the all-new ongoing series, HARLEY QUINN, from co-writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, and ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY debuted some interior art from THE SANDMAN: OVERTURE #1 along with Dave McKean’s cover for the issue. But that’s not all! The DC Entertainment website revealed Doug Mahnke’s stunning triptych cover for the “Trinity War” titles hitting stores in August, as well as four teases for this fall’s highly-anticipated miniseries, FOREVER EVIL (see them here, here, here, and here). Plus, DC Collectibles announced an extensive slate of new statues and action figures!

“It's both an exhausting and re-energizing event," DC Entertainment Co-Publisher and SUPERMAN UNCHAINED artist Jim Lee told THE ASSOCIATED PRESS this morning about San Diego Comic Con. "You do the panels, the press, and you interact with fans. Once you walk out of Comic-Con, you're completely exhausted because you've been going non-stop until three in the morning every night, but you're also super-excited about the art form and the business.”

DC Entertainment will have numerous exclusive products at the convention, including San Diego Comic Con variant covers for high-profile comic releases including JUSTICE LEAGUE #22, SUPERMAN UNCHAINED #1, BATMAN #21, and the retro BATMAN ’66 #1. Priced at just $10 each, these are must-have items for any collector. You’ll be able to carry these incredible titles around the convention center with you in the Warner Bros. sponsored official bag of Comic-Con.
