Metamorpho

One of the world's strangest superheroes, Rex Mason is a combination of an intrepid adventurer and gun for hire, with a bizarre and almost freakish appearance. Gaining his superpowers when he was tasked with finding an ancient and powerful Egyptian artifact, it turned out the entire mission was a setup to eliminate him, as his employer did not want the handsome playboy adventurer to marry his socialite daughter. But instead of killing him, the artifact gave him powers unlike those of any other superhero.

Now calling himself Metamorpho, the Element Man, Rex is one of the most powerful beings on Earth and can transform his body into almost any object that contains natural elements, from complex items like a tank engine to a simple rain cloud. 

Serving on several different superhero teams, from the Justice League to the Outsiders and more, Metamorpho is a brave, misunderstood hero who has literally given his life several times to save his teammates. Luckily, this flexible hero always seems to find a way of coming back and to keep on fighting the good fight, one element at a time.
