In this second issue of SCOOBY APOCALYPSE, Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, Fred and Velma have been sealed in the safe zone of Dr. Velma Dinkley's lab! But what triggered the emergency lockdown? Dr. Dinkley (Velma) thinks that if the nanites she released have been activated, the gang should be safe. The nanites were created by four scientists with the purpose of making the population docile and easy to manipulate.

Thinking they're safe, the gang runs for it! But as they escape the lab, they immediately come face to face with one of Velma’s colleagues… feasting on flesh! What could be turning people within the lab into hideous creatures? As the gang views the complex through the security cameras they see that while some people have been infected by the nanite plague, a small group hasn’t—and they have become the victims.

Can we call them the Scooby gang yet? They need to find a way out of the complex, get to the surface, and warn the world! They crawl through the ventilation to find the one thing that might help them escape.

That thing is a pretty big mystery, with a capital M!

Will Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, Fred and Velma escape? Will they be able to warn the world about this monstrous plague? Read more from writers Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis and artists Howard Porter (pencils & inks), Hi-Fi (color), and Nick J. Nap (letters) by picking up SCOOBY APOCALYPSE #2!
