Not Just Another Goodfella

Or maybe he is.  Maroni henchman Carbone appears in Batman: The Long Halloween and is allegedly named in tribute to a character from the classic movie Goodfellas.  Or maybe a better way to put it is that it’s a show of respect.  Something GOTHAM’S Carbone is sadly lacking.

Another name for Gotham could be Funkytown

GOTHAM is doing a subtly great job of adding color to their characters by the music they choose.  First it was Fish Mooney and Tom Waits.  This week, Zsasz answers his phone to the 70’s hit “Funkytown” by Lipps Inc.  Might give us some insight into how this maniacal serial killer sees Gotham City.
