Hometown Screening of This Summer’s Most Anticipated Film Is Latest Perk to Be Added to We Can Be Heroes Crowdfunding Campaign

Today, as part of DC Entertainment’s We Can Be Heroes giving campaign, Superman fans will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to add their hometown to the list – for one night only – two days before the highly anticipated Man of Steel film opens in theaters nationwide.

We Can Be Heroes is offering the chance for one generous and lucky fan and 100 of their closest friends to bring Hollywood to their hometown with a private screening of Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ Man of Steel on Wednesday, June 12, prior to the film’s official release on June 14. The screening, available for a $15,000 donation, is the latest “perk” added to the hugely successful We Can Be Heroescrowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.

The donation will benefit the campaign’s humanitarian aid partners - Save the Children, International Rescue Committee and Mercy Corps - to deliver food, medicine and other resources critical to the survival of people in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya.
