OFFICIAL RULES

 

To enter this Promotion, you must agree to and abide by these official rules (“Official Rules”).

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR FOR A CHANCE TO WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. INTERNET ACCESS AND VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS REQUIRED.

(A) TO WIN THE GRAND PRIZE, A PERSON MUST CORRECTLY SELECT THE RESULTS OF ALL THIRTY-ONE (31) “BATTLES” COMPRISING THE FIVE (5) ROUNDS OF THE PROMOTION INCLUDING SELECTING THE DC COMICS CHARACTER WHICH IS THE OVERALL WINNER.

(B) TO RECEIVE AN ENTRY IN THE RANDOM DRAWING FOR A CHANCE TO WIN THE ROUND PRIZE FOR A CORRESPONDING ROUND, A PERSON MUST SELECT THE RESULTS OF THE “BATTLE(S)” COMPRISING THAT ROUND. (SELECTIONS DO NOT NEED TO BE CORRECT.)

  1. SPONSOR. DC - a Warner Bros. Discovery Company, 4000 Warner Blvd., Bldg. 700, Burbank, CA 91522 (“Sponsor”).

 

  1. ADMINISTRATOR. This promotion will be administered by Probability LLC., 2 Woodstock Meadows Ln, PO Box 1484, Woodstock, NY 12498 (the “Administrator”).

 

  1. ELIGIBILITY. The DC Comics K.O. Bracket Challenge (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, who are eighteen (18) years or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older) as of the date of registration. The following are not eligible to participate in the Promotion or win Prize(s): (i) employees and agents of Sponsor, Administrator, Apply Digital ULC, each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and each of their respective advertising/promotion agencies and any other entity in any way involved in the production, design, development and implementation of the Promotion; and (ii) the “immediate family members“ and/or “household members” of any of the persons set forth in (i) above. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings or spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year. This Promotion is void in all U.S. Territories (e.g., Puerto Rico and Guam), foreign territories not specifically included herein, and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations.

Grand Prize winner may not have been convicted of a felony or a crime of moral turpitude. By entering, each Promotion entrant understands and agrees that, if selected as the potential Grand Prize Winner, he/she will be required to consent to a background check to verify eligibility. Failure to sign such consents and authorizations and/or to furnish all required information will result in disqualification.

In addition, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify the potential Grand Prize Winner if the results of such background check reveal that such person is not eligible to participate in the Promotion (for Grand Prize Winner) or if such person has been convicted of a felony or a crime of moral turpitude, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If disqualified, a person will not receive any compensation of any kind nor will Sponsor or the other Promotion Entities have any liability to him/her under any legal theory.

  1. PROMOTION OVERVIEW & TIMING. The Promotion begins September 30, 2025 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on February 24, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM ET. (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Promotion.

Sponsor has taken thirty-two (32) of your favorite DC Comics characters, pairing each character to “battle” with another DC Comics character (“Battle”). For example, Batman may battle Aquaman; Superman may battle Green Arrow. Persons participate in the Promotion by selecting the DC Comics character who you think would win each Battle.

In Round 1, you will select the DC Comics characters who you think will win all thirty-one (31) Battles. Round 1 begins September 30, 2025 at 9:00 AM ET and ends October 7, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM ET; the deadline for selecting Battle winners for Round 1 is October 7, 2025. After the conclusion of Round 1, Sponsor will post the DC Comics characters which won each of the first set of sixteen (16) Battles.

In Round 2, you will select the DC Comics characters who you think will win the remaining fifteen (15) Battles. Round 2 begins November 11, 2025 at 9:00 AM ET and ends November 25, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM ET; the deadline for selecting Battle winners for Round 2 is November 25, 2025. After the conclusion of Round 2, Sponsor will post the DC Comics characters which won each of the second set of eight (8) Battles.

In Round 3, you will select the DC Comics characters who you think will win the remaining seven (7) Battles. Round 3 begins December 30, 2025 at 9:00 AM ET and ends January 6, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM ET; the deadline for selecting Battle winners for Round 3 is January 6, 2026. After conclusion of Round 3, Sponsor will post the DC Comics characters which won each of the third set of four (4) Battles.

In Round 4, you will select the DC Comics characters who you think will win the remaining three (3) Battles. Round 4 begins January 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET and ends January 27, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM ET; the deadline for selecting Battle winners for Round 4 is January 27, 2026. After the conclusion of Round 4, Sponsor will post the DC Comics characters which won each of the fourth set of two (2) Battles

In Round 5, you will select the DC Comics character who you think will win the final Battle. Round 5 begins February 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET and ends February 24, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM ET; the deadline for selecting the final Battle winner in Round 5 is February 24, 2026. After the conclusion of Round 5, Sponsor will post the DC Comics characters which won the final Battle and is the overall winner.

Determination of DC Comics characters which won each Battle in each Round will be posted approximately one (1) week of the release of the applicable DC comic (exact dates are subject to change and to be determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion).

SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT, BY POSTING NOTICE ON THE WEBSITE (AS DEFINED BELOW) TO MODIFY THE DATES/TIMES OF ONE OR MORE ROUNDS AND/OR THE DEADLINE FOR SELECTING BATTLE WINNER(S) WITHIN A GIVEN ROUND. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU PERIODICALLY REVIEW THE WEBSITE SO THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF THE CONTEST DEADLINES AS FINALLY DETERMINED BY SPONSOR.

  1. HOW TO PLAY.

Navigate the internet to https:// dc.com/ko (“Website”).

    1. Register for the Promotion by completing the registration form with your e-mail address†, country of residence, and date of birth (month and year only). You will be assigned a user name by Sponsor. (Your user name is intended for use by the registrant alone and is not transferable or usable by anyone other than registration to whom it was assigned by Sponsor; such actions constitute tampering, as discussed below.) You must check the box indicating that you have read, understand and agree to these Official Rules. IF YOU DO NOT CHECK THIS BOX, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PROMOTION.

By registering for this Promotion, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Promotion.

There is a limit of one (1) registration per person/e-mail address.  

You may be asked to consent to receive promotional emails or offers from Sponsor. This is optional and does not affect your chances of winning prize(s) in this Promotion. You are NOT required to give consent to receive such emails or offers in order to participate in the Promotion or win prize(s). If you do consent to receiving promotional emails or offers, your personal information will be handled in accordance with DC’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.wbdprivacy.com/policycenter/b2c/).

Receipt of your registration will be acknowledged by Sponsor. However, such acknowledgment is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor or Administrator under any legal theory.

†It is the sole responsibility of the registrant to notify the Sponsor if his or her e-mail address has changed after registration. To do so, please submit a request through https://support.dcuniverseinfinite.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

    1. Select winning DC Comics character for each Battle, log-in with your credentials and then follow the posted instructions**. Select the DC Comics character that you think will win each of the Battles in a given Round by the applicable deadline (also referred to as “Entry”). For clarity, to be eligible to win prizes in Rounds 2, 3, 4 and/or 5, you must select the DC Comics character(s) who will win the Battle(s) in each Round. The preceding applies regardless of the accuracy of your selections of the DC Comics characters who will win all Battles in Round 1.

**Posted instructions are made a part of these Official Rules and incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any inconsistency between these Official Rules and such posted instructions, the posted instructions will prevail, govern and control ONLY with respect to the selection of winning DC Comics character(s) in each Battle/Round, and in all other respects these Official Rules will prevail, govern and control.

    1. Deadlines for Making Selections. For each Round, your selection(s) of the DC Comics character(s) winning the Battle(s) must be made by the designated deadline. You may only make selection(s) of Battle winner(s) in a given Round once. NO CHANGES MAY BE MADE TO SELECTION(S) OF BATTLE WINNER(S) AFTER THE APPLICABLE DEADLINE OR AFTER YOU SUBMIT YOUR BRACKET.

Receipt of your selection(s) of Battle winner(s) will be acknowledged by Sponsor. However, such acknowledgment is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor or Administrator under any legal theory.

  1. RESTRICTIONS ON GAME PLAY.

Participation in violation of the preceding limit (i.e., registering more than once and/or submitting selection[s] of Battle winner[s] for a given Round more than once), as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion, will result in disqualification from the Promotion and may constitute tampering (as discussed below).

Registration (including logging in after initial registration) and selections of Battle winners must be manually key-stroked by a given registrant; use of automated entry devices or programs, or via third party are prohibited.

Registration (including logging in after registration) and selections of Battle winners that do not conform to or that violate these Official Rules (including instructions posted on the Website) or are submitted in any manner other than stated in these Official Rules will be disqualified.

*IMPORTANT: Data rates may apply if participating in the Promotion via your mobile device according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges as well as charges for wireless Internet access) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. 7.  WINNER DETERMINATION.

(a) Grand Prize. The registrant whose Round 1 selections correctly state the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles in the Promotion will win the Grand Prize. If more than one (1) registrant correctly selects the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles, the Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all such registrants. If no registrant’s Round 1 selections correctly state the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles, the registrant with the most correct selections from Round 1 will instead win the Grand Prize; and, if more than one (1) registrant has the same highest number of correct selections WITHOUT correctly selecting the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles, the Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all such registrants.

Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the ability of registrants to correctly guess the DC Comics characters who win all thirty-one (31) Battles. If more than one (1) registrant correctly guesses the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles, the odds of winning the Grand Prize will instead depend on the number of registrants doing so (i.e., the number of registrants included in the random drawing). If no registrants correctly guess the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles and more than one (1) registrant has the same highest number of correct selections WITHOUT correctly selecting the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles, the odds of winning the Grand Prize will instead depend on the number of registrants doing so (i.e., the number of registrants included in the random drawing.)  

With regard to the Grand Prize, Sponsor will publish Leader Boards with the number of correct selections of winners of the thirty-one (31) Battles, with registrants being identified by username. Leader Boards are intended solely for entertainment purposes. Notwithstanding the posting of any Leader Board, Sponsor reserves the right to revise the contents of any Leader Board at any time without notice or liability of any kind. Without limitation, even if the final Leader Board indicates that a registrant has correctly selected the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles or has the most correct selection of Battle winners WITHOUT correctly selecting the winners of all thirty-one (31) Battles, such registrant may not be the Grand Prize winner or entered in the random drawing to win the Grand Prize (as the case may be). A registrant is not a potential prize winner unless and until he/she has been personally notified to such effect by Sponsor/Administrator as per Rule 10 below.

(b) Round 2-5 Prizes. For Rounds 2, 3, 4 and 5, each registrant who submits selections – whether or not correct – of winner(s) of Battle(s) comprising a given Round will be entered in a random drawing to select the winner of the prize for that Round.

Non-winning entries will NOT be carried for later Round random drawing(s). To be entered in a given Round random drawing, a registrant must submit selection(s) for winner(s) of Battle(s) in that Round.

Odds of winning a Round Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for the corresponding Round; i.e., the number of registrants who submit selection(s) for winner(s) of Battle(s) in that Round.

  1. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”).

GRAND PRIZE: ONE (1) WINNER will receive an opportunity to be drawn into a DC comic issue selected by DC that features DC’s Super Hero characters. Winner will receive ten (10) copies of the standard version of the initial publication of the comic issue in which the Winner is included. (i) Winner will be required to submit a recent photo (free of all third-party rights and encumbrances) for use in creation of comic book/artwork and a valid shipping address for the complimentary copies as well as to otherwise cooperate with any and all reasonable requests of DC in creating comic book/artwork, including but not limited to, signing a Name and Likeness Release; (ii) all elements of creation of comic book/artwork including but not limited to the title, release date and final art are subject to DC’s sole creative control and production needs and Winner will not have any right of review or approval as to same; (iii) Winner understands and agrees that Winner will have no legal recourse (including without limitation the right to any alternate prize) in the event that Winner concludes that the depiction of Winner in the comic book/artwork is unflattering or otherwise inappropriate; (iv) DC will retain all intellectual property rights in the comic book/artwork, including, but not limited to copyrights therein; and (v) DC will use reasonable commercial efforts to initially publish a comic book with the Winner’s likeness and to complete the custom artwork within two (2) years of receipt from Winner of the recent photo, as referenced above, but that final complete and publication may be subject to delays. DC is not responsible for any missing or damaged complimentary copies. ARV: $39.99.

ROUND #2 PRIZE: THREE (3) WINNERS shall each receive one (1) DC comic issue signed by DC talent. ARV: $3.99 each.

ROUND #3 PRIZE: THREE (3) WINNERS shall each receive one (1) DC comic issue signed by DC talent. ARV: $3.99 each.

ROUND #4 PRIZE: THREE (3) WINNERS shall each receive a one-year free trial to DC UNIVERSE INFINITE Annual Ultra subscription, digital collectible DC3 variant pack and digital collectible DC K.O. logo. ARV: $164.97 each.

ROUND #5 PRIZE: THREE (3) WINNERS shall each receive one (1) DC comic issue with original sketch by DC talent.  ARV: $3.99 each.

Total ARV: $570.81.

For Round #2, #3, and #5 Prizes: Sponsor will determine the specific DC comic issue and talent who will be providing the sketch for or signing the comic issue (as applicable). Prize may not come with a certificate of authenticity. ARV does not reflect the re-sale value of the DC comic issue that is signed or includes original sketch.

For Round #4 Prize: All terms and conditions of DC UNIVERSE INFINITE apply to subscription except for fee for first year. In all cases:

  1. prize award is subject to verification of registrant’s full compliance with these Official Rules;
  2. prize is not transferable by winner;
  3. All unspecified expenses in conjunction with acceptance and use of prize are the winner’s sole responsibility;
  4. Sponsor in its sole discretion may award a substitute prize or prize component of equal or greater value if advertised prize/prize component is unavailable at time of awarding for any reason.
  5. limit of one (1) Round Prize per person.

WINNERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF PRIZE(S). Should the fair market value of prize(s) won equal or exceed $600, Sponsor or its designated representative will report prize award to the Internal Revenue Service via IRS 1099 Tax Form in accordance with applicable law. To such end, winner agrees to provide his/her Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number to Sponsor via IRS W9 Tax Form upon request and to otherwise cooperate with Sponsor or its designated representative in conjunction with its compliance with such reporting requirement without additional compensation.  

  1. ENTRY/REGISTRATION ERRORS/ NO RETURN OF ENTRIES/REGISTRATIONS. Neither Sponsor nor Administrator are responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations/entries, which will be disqualified. Neither Sponsor nor Administrator are responsible for any unavailability of or interruptions to any service or equipment used in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, (1) interruptions to any network, server, Internet, website, telephone, satellite, computer or other connections (2) failures of any telephone, satellite, hardware, software or other equipment, (3) garbled, misdirected or jumbled transmissions, or traffic congestion, or (4) other errors of any kind, whether human, technical, mechanical or electronic, or (5) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of registration/entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. Once submitted, registrations and entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Any dispute as to ownership of any registration/entry will be resolved by Sponsor and Administrator in their sole discretion.

 

  1. POTENTIAL WINNER STATUS. ALL POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRIES ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL. A REGISTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL REGISTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND REGISTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR, WILL NOT ACCEPT SCREEN SHOTS, THE CONTENTS OF ANY LEADERBOARD, ANY POSTING OR OTHER PROOF OF WINNING IN LIEU OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS. ANY REGISTRATION OR ENTRY THAT OCCURS AFTER THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED FOR ANY REASON MAY BE DEEMED TO BE DEFECTIVE IN THE SOLE DISCRETION OF SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR AND VOID.

11. WINNER NOTIFICATION.

Potential winners will be notified via e-mail (provided at time of registration), approximately five (5) business days after the approximate random drawing date in Rule 7 above. (For Grand Prize, if a random drawing is not necessary, the potential Grand Prize winner will be notified approximately March 5, 2026 (i.e., approximately five [5] business days after the end of the Promotion Period.)

Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Without limitation, as a condition of prize award, potential winner may be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (where lawful), and a Name and Likeness Release for the Grand Prize, with an indicated time period.  

A potential winner will be disqualified if:

  1. he/she is determined to be ineligible or does not comply with these Official Rules;
  2. Sponsor/Administrator is unable to contact potential winner despite making reasonable attempts to do so, including without limitation if attempted e-mail notification is delayed, classified as a “SPAM” or “Junk” or returned as undeliverable;
  3. Sponsor/Administrator is unable to deliver a prize despite making reasonable attempts to do so;
  4. he/she fails to timely complete, sign and return the Affidavit/Release (if applicable) including for the potential Grand Prize winner the necessary paperwork for a background check.

If the potential winner of a Round 2, 3, 4 or 5 prize is disqualified, an alternate winner of the corresponding Round prize may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received.

If the potential Grand Prize winner is disqualified, an alternate winner may be selected as per Rule 7 above.

Except where prohibited, participation in this Promotion constitutes a registrant’s consent to Sponsor and its designees use of registrant’s name, likeness, voice, opinions and biographical information for publicity, advertising, trade or promotional purposes in any media or manner, now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, without payment, consideration, notice or approval. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without obligation or compensation.

  1. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. Participation constitutes registrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor’s/Administrator’s decisions which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, and/or suspend the Promotion and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the registration/entry process, violates these Official Rules, attempts to defraud Sponsor/Administrator as to participation in the Promotion, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. BUT, DISQUALIFICATION SHALL NOT REPRESENT THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE TO SPONSOR UNDER SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES; WITHOUT LIMITATION, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PURSUE CIVIL AND/OR CRIMINAL PENALTIES AND FINES AND/OR TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor may modify, cancel, terminate, and/or suspend the Promotion if, in the Sponsor’s sole opinion, an incident of any kind occurs to corrupt or impair the administration, security, integrity, fairness or play (as intended) of the Promotion, including without limitation: (a) viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, fraud or technical failure; or (b) earthquake, flood, fire, storm or other natural disaster, act of God, pandemic/epidemic; or (c) labor controversy or threat thereof, civil disturbance or commotion, disruption of the public markets, war, armed conflict (whether or not officially declared) or governmental action (whether or not upheld as being lawful). In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes in a manner which Sponsor determines in its sole discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules and/or to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion at its sole discretion. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on the Website.

 

  1. RELEASE AND INDEMNITY. By participating in this Promotion registrants agree to release and to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Administrator, Apply Digital ULC, each of their respective related companies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) for any liability, injury, death, loss or damages to registrant or any person or entity, including without limitation damage to personal or real property, caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by participation in this Promotion (or related activities) or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of prize(s). 

14. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. The Released Parties do not make any representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, relating to the Promotion and are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by registrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment, hardware, software or programming associated or used with the Promotion; (2) technical errors, defects, delays or failures of any kind, including without limitation malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in communications lines, Internet or website access, hardware or software; (3) digital or electronic disruptions, e.g., viruses; (4) unauthorized human intervention, e.g., hacking; (5) technical or human error which may occur in connection with any aspect of the Promotion; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from registrant’s participation in the Promotion.

SUBJECT ONLY TO ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY ON ITS OWN PRODUCTS (AND LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF SUCH WARRANTY), SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE USE OF ANY PRIZE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE

15. DISPUTES. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Registrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any Prize(s) awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the federal or state courts situated in Los Angeles County, California; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Promotion, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will Registrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Registrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Registrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules (as determined by a court of competent jurisdiction) shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable (by a court of competent jurisdiction), then the Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
