OFFICIAL RULES

 

To enter and participate in the DC Batman Bad Seeds Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), you must agree to and abide by these Official Rules.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. YOU MUST HAVE INTERNET ACCESS AND A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS TO PARTICIPATE.

  1. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington D.C., who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (and the age of majority in the jurisdiction of their residence). DC Comics ("Sponsor" or "DC"), Probability LLC ("Administrator"), any organizations/independent contractors promoting, sponsoring, fulfilling, administering the Sweepstakes or the Live Broadcast (as defined below, including talent appearing during the Live Broadcast) and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, related and affiliated companies, (collectively, the "Promotion Entities") and the immediate family and household members of all such foregoing individuals, are not eligible to enter or win. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year, whether related or not. Potential winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility prior to prize award. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

  1. Sweepstakes Schedule: The Sweepstakes will run from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time ("PT") on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 ("Promotion Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official clock for the Sweepstakes.

 

  1. Sweepstakes Entry: During the Promotion Period, navigate to https://www.youtube.com/@dcofficial ("Website") to access the live event (the "Live Broadcast"). During the Promotion Period (i.e., at certain times during the Live Broadcast), eligible viewers of the Live Broadcast will be invited to enter the Sweepstakes by navigating to https://DC.com/BadSeedsSweepstakes (provided during the Live Broadcast) to enter for a chance to win a prize currently being advertised during the Live Broadcast (“Prize Website”). To enter, eligible viewer must complete the entry form with their full name, email address and select the prize(s) (each a “Prize” and collectively the “Prizes”) they would like to win from the drop-down menu on the Prize Website for the Prize they want to win. You should only select Prize(s) that you are interested in winning. Entry form must be completed and submitted by the deadline provided along with the Prize Website/Prize. A PROPERLY COMPLETED ENTRY FORM WHICH IS TIMELY SUBMITTED WILL ONLY RESULT IN THE RANDOM DRAWING FOR THE CORRESPONDING PRIZE; IF AN ELIGIBLE VIEWER IS INTERESTED IN MORE THAN ONE (1) PRIZE, HE/SHE MUST ENTER AT THE PRIZE WEBSITE FOR EACH PRIZE THAT HE/SHE IS INTERESTED IN. It is strongly recommended that eligible viewers access the Live Broadcast at the beginning of the Promotion Period so that they do not "miss" a chance to win any one (1) of the Prizes.

 

For each Prize, you must check the box indicating that you have read, understand and agree to these Official Rules. IF YOU DO NOT CHECK THIS BOX, YOUR ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN THE CORRRESPONDING PRIZE(S).

 

By entering for a chance to win one or more Prizes in this Sweepstakes, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

 

Limit of one (1) entry per Prize during the Live Broadcast per person, per email address/YouTube account. Multiple entries in violation of the preceding limits, or mass entry attempts may result in disqualification of all entries for all Prizes/Prize Website by such person/email address. Entries must be manually key-stroked by the entrant; use of automated entry devices or programs, or entries by third parties by any method of entry, are prohibited.

 

Participation via mobile device may result in the imposition of wireless Internet access fees and/or other charges as per the wireless carrier’s billing policy. All such fees are the sole responsibility of the participant. Wireless Internet access is not available in all areas or on all mobile devices.

 

In the event of any inconsistency between the announcement of any Prizes during the Live Broadcast and these Official Rules, these Official Rules will prevail, govern and control. Without limitation, the actual Prize offered may differ from the item as displayed during the Live Broadcast with Sponsor and Administrator disclaiming any and all liability in conjunction therewith.

 

With the sole exception of announcing Prizes/Prize Website, talent and hosts of Live Broadcast are in no way involved with the implementation of Sweepstakes. No statement by the talent and hosts of Live Broadcast other than announcing Prizes/Prize Website in accordance with these Official Rules is in any way binding upon Sponsor or Administrator.

 

If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures, Acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, epidemic/pandemic, acts of terrorism, acts of any third party or other matters beyond Sponsor's control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes and/or the Live Broadcast (including the dissemination of Prize Website or other conduct of the Live Broadcast itself), Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to terminate, modify or suspend the offering of one or more Prizes/Prize Website and/or the Sweepstakes itself. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the Sweepstakes and award affected Prize(s) in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of termination/modification/suspension of Sweepstakes will be provided on Website as well as during the Live Broadcast and/or affected Prize Website(s) (to the extent feasible). Without limitation of any other term herein, Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, technical failures of any kind (including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software), any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or loss, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be timely received or received altogether on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes.

 

Entrants further agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes (and/or the Live Broadcast) and/or prevent others from participating in the Sweepstakes or viewing the Live Broadcast.

 

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE OR WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES (OR THE LIVE BROADCAST) VIOLATES CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

 

  1. Random Drawings and Odds: Potential prize winners will be selected in a series of random drawings on or about June 22, 2026. There will be a separate and independent random drawing for each Prize which will be comprised only of eligible entries submitted at the Prize Website by the end of the Promotion Period.  (Entry forms received at one [1] Prize will NOT be carried over for the random drawing for any other Prize. All drawings will be conducted by Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

 

Odds of winning a Prize depends on total number of eligible Entries received for a particular Prize.

 

  1. Winner Notifications: Potential winners ("Winners") will be notified by email on or about June 22, 2026. Failure to respond to the initial verification e-mail within seventy-two (72) hours after initial notification to the potential winner or return of the e-mail notification as undeliverable after two (2) attempts may result in disqualification and award of the prize for the applicable Prize/Prize Website to an alternate winner. Potential winner must confirm his/her street address for prize shipment if verified as a winner and may be required to complete, sign and return within three (3) business days of transmission, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release where allowed by law and any other documentation required by Sponsor (collectively, “Winner Documents”). If potential winner does not respond to the initial notification within seventy-two (72) hours as set forth above, if Winner Documents are not returned to Administrator within the specified time period (if applicable), if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, if potential winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if potential winner cannot or does not accept the prize for any reason, prize may be forfeited and winner will be disqualified without compensation of any kind and an alternate winner may be selected in a random drawing from remaining eligible Entries received for the applicable Prize.

Limit of one (1) prize per family, household or address. No substitution or transfer of prize (or portion thereof) by winner except with Sponsor’s permission. If for any reason one or more Prizes are unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to award a substitute prize of equal value as set forth in these Official Rules. Winner is solely responsible for any and all unspecified expenses in conjunction with acceptance and use of prize. Prizes #1, #2, #11 and #13 may not include a certificate of authenticity. For Prizes #1, #2, #11, #13 and #23, ARV does not represent re-sale value of Prize.

 

All applicable federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winners.

 

  1. Conditions and Limitations of Liability: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, and Administrator, which shall be final in all respects; and (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless each of the Promotion Entities, each of their respective advertising and promotion agencies, each of the foregoing entities’ respective parent, subsidiary, related, affiliated and successor companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, and/or from entrant’s acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of any prize (including without limitation, any failure to pay taxes thereon).

 

By accepting a prize, winner grants Sponsor and its designees permission to use his/her/their name, voice, likeness, photograph, prize information, biographical data and city and state of residence on a Winners’ list and for programming, publicity and promotional purposes, worldwide in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor and their designees are not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation. Sweepstakes is subject to the laws of the United States only. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged.

Disputes: To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrant  agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any Prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the federal or state courts situated in Los Angeles County, California; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules (as determined by a court of competent jurisdiction) shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable (by a court of competent jurisdiction), then the Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
