Corto Maltese translates into trouble
DC fans have visited this fictional island before. In one of the greatest sequences in the seminal book The Dark Knight Returns, Corto Maltese is the focal point of a Cuban-missile crisis that spirals out of control until Superman himself is called upon to avert a nuclear crisis—and nearly dies in the process.
In the world of Arrow, we know that Deadshot has used the island as a base of operations. Now that Malcolm Merlyn has set up shop there who knows how much more dangerous this place can get?
