What is DC UNIVERSE INFINITE ULTRA?
DC Universe Infinite ULTRA is the newest membership tier for the DC Universe Infinite service. With ULTRA Tier, users will be able to read the latest releases from DC one month after they are available in comic shops. Recent titles that will be available to ULTRA subscribers on Monday, October 10 include Black Adam #1-4, Batman: Beyond the White Knight #1-4, Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #1-4, Flashpoint Beyond #1-5, Poison Ivy #1-4, and more.
How do I upgrade to DC UNIVERSE INFINITE ULTRA?
There are a couple of ways for you to gain access to the DC Universe Infinite ULTRA tier. Once you have registered and logged into DC Universe Infinite, you can always navigate to MyDC > Settings and click on ‘Subscription’. From here, select the ULTRA plan and complete the required information to upgrade to this tier.
Additionally, you can click/tap on any comic book with the ‘ULTRA’ badge to be taken through the upgrade flow (these comic books will appear throughout the app). Once you are in the comic book detail screen, click on 'Read Now with ULTRA’. From here, you can upgrade to ULTRA by selecting the ULTRA plan and completing the required information. Once you upgrade, you will gain access to your new benefits immediately! You will be charged for ULTRA at the same time that you pro-rated refund for your old subscription will trigger.
What if I get billed through the app store?
If you get billed through the app store, the user flow remains the same. You will receive a refund for the remainder of your current subscription, and the ULTRA Tier price point will be charged at the start of your subscription renewal date.
What happens to my current subscription if I cancel to upgrade?
Don’t cancel your subscription! Once you are logged into DC Universe Infinite, you can navigate to MyDC > Settings and click on ‘Subscription’. From here, select the ULTRA plan and complete the required information to upgrade to this tier. How do I claim the free physical comic included in the subscription?
As part of your ULTRA Tier subscription, within the next few weeks, you’ll receive an email asking to provide your shipping information for the physical book fulfillment.

**Free trial applies to the DC Universe Infinite (“DCUI”) Monthly, Annual, or Ultra subscription plan, as selected by you. Free trial offer may be redeemed only once per person and cannot be combined with any other promotional or free trial offer for DCUI. After the free trial period ends, your free trial will convert into a paid subscription at the then-current rate (currently $7.99/month or $74.99/year or $119.99/year), plus applicable taxes, unless you cancel before the conversion, and your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current rate plus applicable taxes on a recurring basis, unless you cancel before the renewal. Renewal charges will be applied to the payment method associated with your account, and you hereby authorize DC Comics or its designee to make such charge. Subscription fees are non-refundable. To cancel or prevent the automatic renewal of your subscription, log in to your DCUI account, go to Settings and click “Cancel” under the Subscription tab. If you cancel before the conversion or renewal you will still have access to your plan for the remainder of your free trial period or then-current billing period, as applicable.
