It’s Halloween. How about a scary story? From House of Mystery to Tales of the Unexpected, DC and horror have gone together like vampires and blood, witches and broomsticks, or zombies and brains.
One universally acknowledged truth of life and death in DC comics is that the deceased rarely stay that way forever. Oftentimes, these reunions can be cause for celebration. But sometimes, well, the dead come back wrong.
For all the wide variety of heroes there are across the DC Universe, there’s an even broader spectrum of villains. There are the gimmick-based ne’er-do-wells trading puns and bon mots as they battle across giant typewriters.
