New York Comic Con begins this week and Friday's DOOMSDAY CLOCK panel remains one of the most anticipated of the comic convention. Lev Grossman, author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Magicians trilogy and former Time Magazine book critic, is set to moderate the discussion with series writer Geoff Johns. In a new video interview preparing fans for DOOMSDAY CLOCK, Grossman, a longtime WATCHMEN fan, shares his initial reaction after seeing the first issue and teases questions fans can anticipate for Johns on the panel.

As the former Time Magazine book critic from 2002-2016, Grossman placed WATCHMEN on Time's Top 100 Books of All Time. In the interview, Grossman explains the impact the series had on him and the literary world. He also discusses his intrigue upon hearing about Johns ambitious project, DOOMSDAY CLOCK where the Watchmen and DC universes will meet for the first time.

For fans attending the convention, make sure you mark your calendars for the panel on Friday night from 6-7pm on the main stage. There will be items given away that you can't get anywhere else and will surely be the talk of the show! Those who can't make the panel should tune into the livestream on DC’s Facebook page.
