An announced in July, Batman: The Dark Prince Charming Offers a New Vision of Gotham. Now, as the first volume in this two-part graphic novel series approaches completion, we have a first look into the story, a book trailer and an interview with artist Enrico Marini.

Marini is well known within the European comic book market, and is acclaimed for his flamboyant art style and cinematic approach to storytelling. His work includes the best-selling French-language comics Le Scorpion, Eagles of Rome and Gipsy.

In Batman: The Dark Prince Charming Book One, a secret connection between Batman and The Joker and a strange and mysterious young girl sets the tone for this graphic novel. The Joker and Batman plunge deep into the underworld of Gotham City and race against time to find out where she’s being held. The stakes are high, and for Batman, it’s personal!

Book one of Batman: The Dark Prince Charming will be in comic book stores on November 1, 2017. Look for book two coming in spring 2018.

Both volumes of Batman: The Dark Prince Charming will be available in the Direct Market as oversized (7.0625” x 10.875”) paper-over-boards (hardcover) collectors editions, similar to Frank Miller's Dark Knight: The Master Race collectors editions.
