On Tuesday, we debuted the latest, hard hitting (literally, in the last segment) episode of “DC All Access,” our new weekly webseries taking you behind the scenes deep into the world of DC Entertainment. It featured an exclusive interview with Kevin Smith and Zack Snyder, Dan DiDio and Jim Lee’s thoughts on DC’s move from New York to California, a conversation with Arrow’s new Amanda Waller and much more. Of course, we’re not telling you anything you don’t already know since you’re already big fans of “DC All Access,” right?

Well, if you’re not watching, you should be. But rather than listing off the reasons ourselves, we thought we’d invite half of the dynamic duo responsible for bringing us so much geeky goodness each week to guest write this week’s 5.2 Reasons column. Here’s “DC All Access” host Blair Herter…

"People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy and I can't do that as Bruce Wayne. As a man, I'm flesh and blood, I can be ignored, I can be destroyed; but as a symbol... as a symbol I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting." – Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne), BATMAN BEGINS

"People need the greatest show in the history of entertainment and I need a powerful reason to leave the comforts of Castle Hertskull to brave the horrors of the Los Angeles freeway system.  DC All Access checks off both of those boxes." – Blair Herter, POSSESSED OF THE GREATEST JOB IN THE WORLD

Supermen and Batgirls, without further ado I give you 5.2 Reasons You Should Be Watching "DC All Access."

1.  Tiffany Smith

It’s a question as old as time: What do you get when you take a giant cauldron and mix  in two parts awesome human being, three parts pretty lady, a comic book encyclopedia, and thirty-seven buckets of kitten smiles?  This:

2.  All Your Favorite DC Content Wrapped Up In Delicious, Easily Digestible Chunks

Each 5-9 minute episode – long enough to avoid doing household chores, but short enough to watch during boring halftime shows – covers every aspect of the DC Universe. Pick your poison: Comics, film, television, video games, collectibles… Whichever fear toxin you prefer, we’ve got ya covered!

3.  It’s Right There in the Title: ALL ACCESS

This show isn’t just about serving you all the best DC news on one slick video platter.  It’s about being THE destination for breaking DC news and updates.  From exclusive The Sandman: Overture panel reveals to huge Arrow cast member announcements to the origin behind Jim “The Professor” Lee’s nickname, “DC All Access” offers fans unprecedented access to the inner-workings of DC Entertainment.

4.  Sweet Sweet Loot

Each action-packed episode of “DC All Access” contains a scavenger hunt that offers viewers with Bats-level detective skills the chance to win incredible DC merch. Or sometimes we turn things over to Twitter, asking you to tweet out fun things? (Why… Because we love hearing from you! And also, we figured your eyes could use a rest.) Lucky fans have already won things like a PS3 with Batman: Arkham Origins and Superman Unchained #1-4 SIGNED BY JIM FREAKIN’ LEE…and that’s just the tip of the Iceberg Casino.  We’ve got some AMAZING stuff lined up so keep watching to win!

5.  It’s Not All About the Pros

Yes, we talk to folks like Zack Snyder and Jim Lee because they’re the guys behind the movies, shows and comics you love. But those things wouldn’t exist without the fans, so we also regularly shine the spotlight on you. Like in this “DC All Access” bonus clip where I spoke to a small, intimate gathering of DC cosplayers at the recent Comikaze.

5.1 And On That Subject… Bonus Clips!

We usually have at least one extra clip for you each week. Like this clip of Zack Snyder and Michael Shannon that went up today.

5.2  Because Breaking Bad Isn’t On TV Anymore

So you might as well watch something else awesome.  It’s what Heisenberg would want.
