Whoever said that nothing in life is free clearly wasn’t a comic book fan. Otherwise, they would know that this Saturday, May 7^th is Free Comic Book Day and that comic shops worldwide will be giving away free comics to all the fans who come through their doors. Comics like our SUICIDE SQUAD #1 FCBD SPECIAL EDITION and the all new DC SUPER HERO GIRLS #1 FCBD SPECIAL EDITION, both of which will be available for free that day at participating shops.

But complimentary comics are only the beginning. Many comic shops also host Free Comic Book Day parties and events that sometimes feature DC writers and artists as guests. Curious if any of those shops are in your neighborhood?
