You made it through this month’s Friday the 13th, but are you prepared for Vertigo’s newest horror series? Just in time for Halloween, Vertigo introduces COFFIN HILL, a haunting story of dark magic and the consequences that are unleashed as a result.

Noted novelist and Massachusetts native, Caitlin Kittredge (author of the Black London series) makes her comic writing debut with COFFIN HILL #1 starring Eve Coffin, a former rebellious teenager from a high-society family with a curse that goes back to the Salem Witch trials. Set against the ominous backdrop of New England, COFFIN HILL is gorgeously illustrated by artist Inaki Miranda, following his acclaimed run on FAIREST.

Kittredge recently spoke to NEWSARAMA, COMIC VINE, THINGS FROM ANOTHER WORLD, and GAMMA SQUAD about her inspiration for the series, her love of comics, and what's in store for Eve.

Be sure to pick up COFFIN HILL #1 when it hits the shelves on October 9.
