The First Trickster…

…we meet is Axel Walker.

A teenage hoodlum with a serious case of villain worship.  Seriously, this kid seems to have no moral compass at all.  Maybe he has Daddy issues.  Young Axel was created by Geoff Johns and Scott Kolinsin The Flash Vol. 2, #183.  If only he had a father to show him the right path.

I am your Father!

Oh.  Right.  OK, chills, right?  Not only is it amazing to have Mark Hamill back in the DC Universe playing the original Trickster—a role he first played back in the 90’s—but it was cool hearing him utter that immortal line.  James Jesse, a man with a background in circus performing, first appeared in print in 1960.  Not only is he considered a member of the Rogues Gallery, he is also a member of the Secret Society of Super-Villains.  Johns also brought both Tricksters together in Rogue War!

Re-elect Mayor Bellows

The Trickster is not the only 90’s Flash TV character making a comeback tonight.  An ambitious young cop back in 1991, Officer Tony Bellows has risen through the ranks to become Mayor Bellows—played in both cases by actor Vito D’Ambrosio.

2 Big Things…

…every Flash fan has been waiting for.  Vibrating through solid matter has been a staple of the Flash mythology for decades.  And tonight we saw it!  But that almost, almost!, pales in comparison to the first reference of—the Speed Force!  DC Comics fan know that this is the mysterious energy from the outer edge of the Multiverse which gives all Speedsters their abilities!

Think we missed any secrets or that maybe we're holding out on you?  Let us hear about it in the comments section!
