I have a confession to make, guys. I am really, shamelessly in love with body swap comedy. I can't help it. I know it's goofy and a trope that we've all seen about a billion times before, but c'mon. You all had to know it was only a matter of time before the Legends ran into a predicament like this, right?

So, the Firestorm situation is getting more and more interesting and complicated by the day, huh? I know I've been pretty intently focused on Lily and her baby, but this week put some interesting new thoughts in my brain. Firestorm, over on the comics side, is basically always made up of more than one person, with only the occasional (and temporary) exception. So, the thought that Ray, Jax and Stein are trying to figure out a way to move the Firestorm matrix completely over into Jax does have some precedent...but not enough for me to really venture any major guesses on.

Do I think it's possible for Firestorm to just be a single person? Sure. Do I think that's necessarily a good idea? Maybe not. But right now, I couldn't really say who would be a viable candidate for Stein's part of the equation after he's gone, so honestly, it might have to just be Jax for a while.

It seems like, no matter what happens, Jax is probably in for a bit of a rough ride in the future—one that might make accidentally swapping bodies with an old man seem like a walk in the park.

...But either way, how awesome and kind of hilarious was it to finally see Dr. Stein himself all Firestormed up and in costume for the first time? I can't say "Martien Stein with solid white eyes and flaming hair" was ever on my Legends wishlist, but sometimes we get the gifts we need rather than the ones we want.

And just as a total aside, speaking as a Legends fan who is also a bit of a real life history buff: all that stuff about Hedy Lamarr? How she was an actress in the Golden Age of Hollywood who eventually became an inventor responsible for technology that gave us wifi? Totally true. She's a real person who really did just about everything we saw in tonight's episode...except, well, being usurped and blindsided by the actual real life Helen of Troy. You know what I mean. If you're a fan of vintage science and engineering, give Miss Lamarr some thought!

Now, on the other end of the spectrum, we got a pretty decent look at Damien Dahrk's team and their...well, I'm not sure if "plan" is really the right word. Offering Sara and the Legends the chance to essentially just pack it up and move along without a fight? Saying "anachronisms are good for business"? I really don't know what's going on with them or what their plans are, or how Mallus is involved behind the scenes. And you know what? I'd put money on Damien not really having a clue either.

We're only six episodes in, but based on what we know about Mallus, he (she? they? it?) doesn't seem to be all that forthcoming with information and not all that motivated by your standard supervillain fair. All I'm saying is that if Mallus just wanted power or wealth or world domination, there's probably a better way to go about it.

So that corner of the board is still a pretty big question mark for me—though it does seem like Kuasa's history with Amaya is about to start playing a major role. We know, just as viewers, that Kuasa is actually the sister of Mari, which makes her Amaya's granddaughter as well. The only problem is Amaya doesn't know that. So...that bomb is bound to go off sometime and I really don't think it's going to be very pretty when it does.

But that's enough time spent at the conspiracy theory wall this week. We ended up with an amazing #DCTV Secret in tonight’s episode—one that really wasn't all that big of a secret, but still. Helen of Troy was spirited away to live on the one and only Themyscira! Home of the Amazons and birthplace of Wonder Woman.

Normally I'm pretty against the Legends breaking their own rules on interfering with the timestream, but this one I'll totally write them a pass on. Not only does it jive perfectly with the whole Greco-Roman history of the Amazons, but it just would have been way, way too bleak to force Helen to return to a place that made her so miserable.

And who knows? Maybe Helen's presence on Themyscira could have some major positive impacts on the Amazons! Maybe this is just the way time was supposed to unfold all along. Time has a way of ironing itself out.

Sometimes.

...Kind of.

Either way. I'm sure this one is fine. It's too awesome not to be.
