“Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?”

At least, that’s the reaction we were hoping to elicit from readers on the final page of JLB 2.0 #8, in which we reveal that the name of Jax-Ur’s son is…Zod!

But how can this be? I’ll turn it over to JLB 2.0 writer Christos Gage for more!

Christos Gage: KNEEL BEFORE— Wait, is this kid that our heroes brought back from the Phantom Zone THE Zod? Jax-Ur has always sort of been the Zod of the DC Animated Universe. So is this kid—his son—a good guy or a bad guy? Or is he just a kid, and it hasn't been decided yet? Can the Justice League steer him on a path to heroism, or is there more to his past that we don't know?

One thing we do know (but the Justice League doesn't) is that Jax-Ur was in cahoots with Brainiac, which can't be good...and Brainiac said something about not having long to wait. Hmm.

It's like I don't even know who to kneel before!

Thanks, Chris!
